Opciones de matriculación
The course aims to familiarize students of the oil, gas and mining sectors with the fundamentals of scientific writing and with the process of publishing scientific articles. The course is delivered in two sections: (a) in the first section, the students will understand the motivation and the techniques related to scientific writing; and (b) in the second section, the students will write an actual paper related to their own research.
Graduate students at PPGEMin/USP are required to publish scientific
papers as part of their post-graduation degrees. The specific skills associated
to scientific writing include effectiveness in the preparation of objective,
concise and clear texts. In addition to the actual writing of the papers, the
students are also required to understand and to practice the submission process
for high-impact journals, including editorial alignment and the communication
with journal reviewers and editors. CONTENTS 1.
