 Objectives

The aim of this discipline is to provide students with a background of how organizations are implementing environmental and social practices. It is also important to provide an understanding of the different actors involved in this process, the theories and frameworks applied, and trade-offs among economic, environmental and social actions.

Content

Introduction to BS – overview of the discipline (externalities, drivers to business sustainability); BS and theoretical background; BS and governance; BS and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs); BS and strategy; BS in developing and developed countries. 

In practice classes, the students will develop a systematic review using softwares as Biblioshiny, VosViewer, and NVivo.

Type of Assessment:

Written assessment (paper elaboration).
