This course is an introduction to Atmospheric Physics. The main goal is to give students an overview of key aspects of Atmospheric Physics, highlighting the complexity of Earth's climate system. Topics include atmospheric chemical composition, natural and anthropic greenhouse effects, physical and chemical properties of aerosols, atmospheric radiation, cloud formation processes, and remote sensing from satellite sensors. The coursework includes attending classes, solving problem sets and computer practical assignments, and preparing/presenting seminars.
