Forum

This is the asynchronous (time delayed) communication tool that will be used a great deal throughout the duration of this course. Within this function, there will be areas/threads where students can discuss course content, interact socially, and post general information to the entire class. Also in Forums, the facilitator will provide ‘closed’ or private threads, so groups may communicate asynchronously while working on an assignment together. The facilitator has access to all discussion thread transcripts. Please remember that when you use the "Compose" command, you start a new thread of discussion and when you use "Reply", you reply to the current message. In order to not clutter our conferencing space, use "Compose" cautiously and only when you have to start a new thread.
