To offer students a presentation and discussion of the main topics involving the design, planning and execution of infrastructure projects, including regulatory, operational and financing aspects. The combination of lectures and case studies provides a view of theoretical and practical aspects of these investment projects that are so necessary for the development of Brazil.
Students ought to read the texts indicated before classes and prepare for active participation in discussions with colleagues and the professor. Students will have the opportunity to choose a sector, topic and / or infrastructure company in Brazil to elaborate a deeper analysis that will be presented in class. Students, individually, in pairs or triples, depending on the number of enrolled, will write a text about the selected case study that will be the basis for their grade in the discipline.
Please note that the course will be taught in English. Classroom discussions, seminar presentations and papers will be executed in English. Except for two secondary references, the entire bibliography of the discipline is in English.- Docente: Eduardo Franco Luzio
