Introduction to the Linux Command Line (2022)

Learn how to use the Linux (or, more precisely, the Bash) command line in this one semester course. We start from the very beginning, there are no prerequisites.

This is not a bioinformatics class. We do use some files, in examples and exercises, that come from bioinformatic applications, because that is what I have easiest access to from my daily practice. But it is not necessary to know anything about biology or bioinformatics to attend this class. Basic computer usage skill is all that is needed: as long as you know how to use a computer keyboard, you should be fine.
