The goal of the module is to qualify graduate engineering students with the knowledge and skills to integrate computational psychometrics into their research. This interdisciplinary course will address the intersection between Engineering, Psychology, and Data Science, with an emphasis on the development, adaptation of instruments to measure latent variables, and the application of psychometric models to real-world engineering challenges focusing on Transport Engineering problems. The course will emphasize the measurement of latent variables, the use of the R and Stan programming languages, and the development and adaptation of psychometric instruments.
