Students will read, discuss and critically assess judgments and advisory opinions pronounced by international courts and tribunals, such as the Permanent Court of International Justice, the International Court of Justice, the Permanent Court of Arbitration, the International Criminal Court, among other international adjudicatory bodies, in order to illustrate and enhance comprehension of international legal theory. The goal is to enable students to observe and consider how international judges act and work up arguments when deciding cases according to international law.
