PMR5414 aims to open an academic discussion about the concepts, methodology, and practice for modeling and designing productive distributed and service-oriented systems, assuming they are necessarily automated. The topic will be explored from the perspective of a challenge to operate a digital transference toward I4.0 for any production arrangement or organization that is still on a mix of I3.0 and lower levels. Cloud manufacturing will be at the bottom of the discussion.
