E-mail is a private mode of communication. Just like your own personal e-mail, this is another communication tool that will allow you to communicate with classmates asynchronously (in a time delayed mode). Moodle’s e-mail facility will enable you to send a message to anyone who is part of your class. No one else will be able to read this message. Please note that this e-mail function within Moodle does not allow you to e-mail someone who is not a member of our class. This is an internal electronic mail system.

You could also use the external e-mail addresses of participants once we post them online to send e-mail messages.
